Culture in Italy after the pandemic

It is globally recognized: Italy is the cradle of culture. After the pandemic, which will change lifestyles around the world, Italy must keep a single firm point: culture.

It is for this reason that on 2 June the magnificent Raffaello exhibition designed to mark the 500th anniversary of his death will reopen, as will the Colosseum archaeological park, which is the most visited monument in the world. Therefore, very good news for Italian culture!

From a financial point of view, we all know that culture is in extreme need after this harsh time that is still ongoing. The Italian goverment allocated 780 million Euro through the Cura Italia and Relaunch decrees.

These funds are probably and rightly destined to grow. An emergency fund has been created for every sector: art venues, cinema (my main passion), dance, theater, but the government still has to implement the decree in order for the funds to actually flow to the addressees. So, we hope that Minister Franceschini will hurry up in making this money circulate as soon as possible. Culture is as necessary as factories.
